In case you’re not a military history nerd, three of the major types of cannon ammunition were basic round shot, chain shot (two small round shots strung together, good for tearing through ship riggings) and canister shot (can full of small round shots, basically like a giant shotgun)

I’ve got to look into making actual little cigarette card versions of these.
